Requirements
  • Familiar with land use and zoning principals
  • Ability to read and interpret zoning ordinances
  • Ability to read and interpret ALTA surveys
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Work, Excel and PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat & Reader
  • Proficient using internet search engines such as Google and Yahoo
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-directed, organized, and able to work with minimum supervision
  • Ability to work within a team environment
  • Ability to adjust work schedule to meet deadlines
Responsibilities
  • Internet based research of Zoning maps and Ordinance
  • Perform data entry following prescribed or established formats
  • Review ALTA surveys to determine physical conditions
  • Assist in document collection via the internet
  • Compose and/or draft correspondences
  • Track information and provide it to the party seeking the information
  • Obtain and manage documents
  • Draft zoning compliance reports relating to bulk, area and parking requirements
  • Correspond with City Departments and internally via email and or telephone
  • Assist in ensuring meeting deadlines
  • Work as part of a team to ensure efficient completion of tasks
